Man, What's Up With Eaton Right Now.....

This is getting ridiculous. And in all fairness, it’s not just Eaton, but for the work I do, they are the ones giving me the most problems.

I had to pull off and reschedule a job today: Can’t find 1 1/4” flex connectors, can’t find 1 1/4“ female adapters, couldn't get 1” flex connectors, can’t get GFCI BR 2 pole breakers, cant get BR handle ties, can’t get the BR lug kits, multi port taps were a week out……

I got so pissed I packed all my $*** and went back to the office. I went online and ordered everything I haven’t been able to get for the past couple weeks.

It took 6 orders from 6 different places all across the country to get all this stuff ordered. 😡

One of the companies I bought a lug kit from last week for a job, apparently I bought the last one, because they don’t have anymore. And I apparently bought the last 20A GFCI 2P as well.

I guess no one wants to go to work anymore, they’d rather lay around in moms basement playing call of duty and playing with something else. 🙄

Future looks bright.
For online wire I do wire and cable your way
For online when i can't get from supplier in time siemens breakers and hold downs ect I do siemens official Amazon store
Zorro for oddball granger type stuff but they have better pricing even though same company
Refurbished legit stuff BL best in spokane and they mail out stuff too. But he doesn't have it set up for website orders but you can call them and stuff.

Been there. Not sure what is going on but can feel for you. Chasing parts in 100mile radius, and still can't get what is needed to do a complete job.
AFA BR handle ties, haven't seen them in over a year and a half, when I did see them online someone wanted $10 for one (not a pack just one).

Not sure if what is happening is the toilet paper syndrome. Some larger organizations going and buying every last one creating a perceived "shortage", forcing the smaller guys out because we can't get the parts to do a job. (Only applicable to the ones that "want" to work) Like your last comment alludes toward.
I know I've fallen into that mentality when I finally find that item been looking for for a while and will order five when I only needed one so
I have it for the next job. (Longing the the old days when could just go to the supply house per job and get what was needed, and not be the warehouse too.)

I personally prefer Siemens. Can’t seem to beat German engineering. My first choice would be QO though.
