Any of you guys ever have a job where a shanty or trailer was not able ot be onsite and you had to rent a space nearby for the electricians to have a "home base" to change etc.?

How the heck do you know of there is something close that's available during ther time you'll be onsite?
We would send a PM or Superintendent to the area to scope out motels, campgrounds, rental lots, etc....

Exactly. Also ask the GC what they're doing for temporary field office space. We've rented space in parking lots for temporary trailers.
