Existing 200A meter/service pedistal at mobile home, with 3 breaker slots for branch ckts
Would this work?
Install a 200 A feed thru panel 8/16 ckts
Mount on outside of mobile home
Run feed from existing meter service to this new feed thru panel, and refeed mobile home
Install interlock kit on new 200 A feed thru panel with genny inlet
This minimizes outage and no dealing with poco
Thanks, I have only done 2 mobile home services 40 years ago

That would work, no interlock available for the existing service disconnect? Or is it a six switch rule disconnect?

Remember the FAS inspection if you mount it on the house.

I'd rather change out the pedestal for a standard main breaker 3r panel and throw the standard meter on an Hframe. They make standard 3r panels with interlocks available.
Yes that is an option for 3R panel and I wasn’t sure if FAS applies. Best to avoid FAS, do the install under L&I electrical

Why not mount it next to the meter pedestal instead of the MH?
