A 200 amp 120/240 volt 1Ph. Manual Transfer switch (S E Rated no over current protection) is located on the exterior of a dwelling and the 200A service entrance panel w/200A main CB is located immediately inside in back of the transfer switch. Is this arrangement Code compliant?
 
No. The transfer switch is the service disconnect and the service OCPD must " an integral part of the service disconnecting means or shall be located immediately adjacent thereto." 230.91
