With drywall off i think everything changes. Very likely will need brought up to code. They now need to adjust every box for depth. Nothing wrong in trying to help a church out for a serious cut in price. I did one for free labor. As a business move run from this but if your able and willing to help a church you might ask them for some free help.

This has been discussed. They will tear out all old wiring. The only thing I will reuse is the meter combo and main panel. Me and my guys will do the install. It would go faster and smother than trying to teach some one who is unfamiliar with the work.

There's way's to bank on God, I don't think this is the One of them.

The client can move it, and pull permits for it, but then they can't pay for any services to it. Frankly the job scares me,
and I don't carry any papers!

Good Luck!

Not looking to "Bank on God". It has taken them 4 years to get to this point. They have been doing what hey could as money became available

Never hurts to see what local supply houses might help with. Perhaps your men might donate a Saturday. Its for a good cause

I have a couple local churches that have helped me in hard times lately, and the way we found after talking to my tax attorney was to write up a bill for the full amount as if you did the full part of your job, then subtract the amount you agree that they can pay, then write off the excess as a donation and claim it against your tax's, this way you will be eligible for the unpaid amount as a donation off your tax's. make sure to get a reciept for the donation amount of the bill.
