Section 555.7 Location of Service Equipment. The service equipment for floating docks or Marinas shall be located adjacent to, but not on or in, the floating structure.
Can the service equipment be located in an electrical room in Pasinger terminal building that is about 40 to 50 feet from edge of dock area and is controled by the marina operator? In case of fire he has the key to electrical room, and would have keys to same equipment located outside in fenced area.
Local inspector is saying no at this point, but has not seen plans.
