What I know:
-If there is shore power available, they should be wired as an SDS. You don’t want neutral going back to shore then back to the boat.
-Bonding is a whole ‘nother thing on a boat. Two schools of thought; Bond everything and change zinc constantly, or use high quality brass fittings and isolate as much as you can.
But the bonding would be out of my SOW. I’m just hooking up the genny.
-Flexible tinned “welding“ style cable is usually used on boats.
I don’t know what I don’t know, so what do I not know that I don’t know?
