Mike Holt is good. I also spent a lot of time doing the examples in the back of the code book (as far as calcs go) which forced me to think through and figure out things. I think that helped me the most. It can be difficult to understand how in the hell they come up with the answers though. And ditto on the tabs, I think it would have given me 15 extra min if I had them. The test is on 2017 NEC, if you didn't know. Good luck!
