It would be helpful if you would break the habit of using those words in that sequence. Amps do not happen "per phase." The word "per" in the phrase "per phase" implies that a multiplication problem is involved in the discussion. For example, it implies, incorrectly, that if you had 100 amps per phase, the total amps would be 300. That is not the way amps add to amps.
