all the previous being said I use them religously all the time. It only takes one callback and a long troubleshoot to see how easy it would have been to install one of these little helpers.

Is that valid when debating with the inspector or they want to see the cut sheet or instructions from the manufacturer.

all the way at the bottom of the 3rd page it says "antishort bushings are not required"
The key here is using listed for MC connectors.
That means no romex conn. or similar BX type, they must be rated for MC without a bush.
