How would you make a 90 degree bend with #250 Copper MC cable? Assume one can't unless it's a long sweep or you put a box but then you need to splice?

I don't work with cable this large, so the question confuses me.

It's a cable. It comes on a spool. Lots of 90 degree bends as supplied.

Is the question how to make a very tight 90? How to properly support the 90? How to make the 90 conform to a surface? How to physically manipulate the large cable?

I don't intend to sound snarky, I really don't understand the question.

Dont work with large MC but generally your bend is limited by the natural flexability of the cable, it will restrict the bend. Shouldn't need any tools to bend, one reason you might use MC vs EMT in first place. You will know your bend is too much when the cable linking breaks.

You could transition from cable to conduit with a connector.

I use 250-4 AL MC cable often and it bends pretty tight - I would say easily tighter than the radius of A 2" EMT 90. Copper is going to be more of a battle to bend and make stay and heavy as hell but doable. Personally I would use 350 AL MC.
Thanks.
