MC cable terminated in PVC box

Can type MC cable be installed into a PVC junction box?

I would say that is in violation of the 2005 NEC but cannot find where it would be. I've looked in 250 and 330.

I have had it suggested to me that this is not a violation and have been asked to install the MC this way.

Is it a violation and where can I find the article.

Tim I hope you read the exceptions before you go back and say it's a violation.

The way I read it it is a violation to use MC with a PVC box unless you use bonding bushings per exception 1.
