MC cable

If you guys have a gutted space that will eventually get a hung gyp or acoustical ceiling and has concrete slab above ceiling do you run your mc cable in the beginning before the ceiling framing, black iron or pencil goes up or do you wait and use the pencil rod with mc cable clips?

Anyone have some pics of mc cable being supported above hung ceiling? Thanks

Slang term is Batwings. There's multiple manufacturers. There are also those fancy J hooks that are fast for running along the side of the wall above the drop. They're faster than batwings
