Back to the OP ,314.3 exception 1 does allow metalic armored cable to be used in pvc NM boxes but there must be an internal bonding means provided at all entries.So I guess the answer would have to be no to using MC in NM boxes.

How about using a 1/2" bonding bushing?

exception 2 does permit bonding bushing on all threaded entries,But that would totally change wire fill and be a pain to trim out since there would be a migb for each entry .doesn`t exception 1 only deal with metallic cablle without a threaded entry? IE:NM quick clips.

I agree that a bonding bushing would be a pain in a small box, but how would a bonding bushing change wire fill?

After rereading314.16B,it does say that no allowance shall be required for a bushing.It doesn`t say a migb but a bushing is a bushing though.Like I said it would be a pain to trim out anyway.
