Let's the style is:benaround said:That might depend on the 'style' of the fitting.
Some do...there is a squeeze type connector that fits [is listed for] AC, MC and NM - it does not....most duplex MC connectors do not ~ some duplex conns are rated for one wire as well.benaround said:Celtic, The fitting in the picture looks like it would have to be stripped all
the way, I don't think 2 mc cables could fit in the emt with the armor still on.
Don't the fittings for mc have a hole for the wires to go through and the
rest of it stops the armor from going in more ??

SiddMartin said:I thought i read in ECM somewhere that you can only change over if you only use 2 fittings (2008) (the emt con, threaded cplg, mc con.) would be illegal then. Is this not the case?:-?
thats what I posted, I thought an earlier post suggested to do that and I thought it was a violation now.celtic said:That would be 3 fittings  ....
There is a thread on this forum somewhere that links back to the EC&M story.
SiddMartin said:is it a violation?
thanks for the linkceltic said:I guess that depends on whom you ask
Here is a link that to a thread here: RMC to FMC Transition
That link leads to another thread on this forum.
NOTE: Seems some of the images have disappeared ...but these are old threads.
