MC vs NM cable

I have question on when to use MC or NM cable what should decide the choice of either one or the other? I’m looking commercial job that will be wood frame ,three stories high.

I have question on when to use MC or NM cable what should decide the choice of either one or the other? I’m looking commercial job that will be wood frame ,three stories high.

Whats the occupancy type. Nm could be behind sheetrock but if it's getting t bar then that needs mc. Some people are squeamish to Nm in commercial what's the client and general want. If they want cheap but compliant then maybe do as much in nm as possible

NM is always faster to pull than MC at least for me but if there's drop ceilings then it wouldn't be enough of a difference to switch between wiring methods and i would go all MC.
