Hello!
I'm having trouble find an answer to this one and was hoping someone here could provide more insight.
I am rewiring and standardizing an old house here in Florida and came across something I was not expecting. On 3 of the 4 main walls EMT was run through the cinderblock walls and metal boxes were embedded for the outlets.
Picture of Box
This clearly posses a possible issue if they need to be replaced. My question is this; are these still accepted according to Code in the state of Florida? I've had little luck searching this exact situation to confirm, but I will obviously run new wire through them if so. If not, is there an alternative anyone can suggest as I will be loosing 7 outlets on 3 major walls which is not acceptable as that will definitely be a code issue with having a receptacle at least every 6 feet.
I appreciate the time and input!
