Meter Bank Load Wires

Have existing meter bank with racways stubbing in from ceiling above , then free wired into the top of meter bank. There is a galvanized skirting enclosure to protect wires from damage and this is located in a locked meter room . My question is do I have to extend these racways into the top of a new meter bank that is going to be installed , or may I leave them as they are within the existing skirting . The local inspector has told me that these load side feeder wires cannot share this common open wireway , and that they need to be isolated from each other , They are all on the load side of the main 800 amp service switch, and each have a independent 125 amp main breaker. I showed him that at the entry point of the meter bank they all share a commen wireway to the connection point anyway ? I refered to the south fla building code chapter 45 and it shows the condition that I have, I understand the requirements for bonding & grounding the metal skirting. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Steve Johnston.

???? I know of the "Florida Building code" didn't know the "south" had their own.

Maybe the "south" has their own "Existing Building code" the inspector could read and if you are not replacing the feeders, MY interpretation is you can leave the installation the way it is. I am however not there and there may be other concerns with safety and such that I am not privy to!:)
