I have installed a 5 gang meter center with four 225 amp breakers and one 400 amp breaker. The total demand load per the architect is 171589 VA. The meter center has a 1600 amp bus, the inspector wants me to size the conductors form the transformer to the meter center based on the bus ampacity. Any suggestions?
