Meter Socket Bus Bar Rating

Due to not being able to get our standard meter bank, we are looking for a substitute. We have a 4-unit residential building, each with 200A panels. The bus rating of our proposed meter enclosure is 600A. Is there a minimum rating for the meter bus? We may need to do a load calc for the building. Any thoughts?

Do a load calc for the 4-unit building. The bus rating of the meter bank must not be less than the calculated load.
