I read instructions . . . sometimes.

I also eat quiche.

I bet you'ld even wear a pink shirt.;)

I do agree with not putting it together just to take it apart. Nothing worse than looking at a piece and thinking "if I had put that in three steps back like the instructions said, it would probably fit."

so if they call for a dedicated (whatever that is) 20 amp branch circuit and the unit has a 15 amp attachment plug can I use a single 15 amp receptacle ,.. so that it remains a dedicated circuit???

No it has to either be a duplex 15 amp receptacle or a single 20 amp receptacle.

I often wonder why people never want to open that little book labeled installation instructions. :D

The other one they may considered reading is operating instructions.

Never read either myself ( waiting for the movie) but here they can be helpfull.:grin:
My wife calls them 'destructions' - often chucks out the manufacturers opinion along with all that trash they sent it in... I tend to agree - since she's the one with the food....

Because they're packed inside the unit.:D
However - they are available on-line when planning at rough - sometimes good to get an idea of what they think - then do something else - but at the very least you can make an educated decision...
