microwaves calculated?

I have a question concerning over the range microwave/vents for dwelling and multidwelling calculations. Are these microwave/vents considered "fixed appliances" or not? I want to say yes, being that they are fixed mounted on the wall, but do not see anything in nec 2005 mentioning anything about microwave ovens. I don't think it would make much difference in single dwellings but may for multi-dwellings.

The NEC will not tell you if a microwve is a fixed appliance. I will. At least my opinion. Yes, it is bolted to the wall and fixed in place and often times has a duct connected to it. IMO, it is a fixed appliance

Article 550.2 Definitions
Appliance, Fixed. An appliance that is fastened or otherwise secured at a specific location

Then look at the appliance, portable & Stationary. I would guess that a washer/dryer may be stationary appliances whereas the micro hood is fixed
