Congratulations to Arkansas, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oregon, and South Dakota for their ?A+? rating. These states have set the standard for electrical safety by adopting the most current Code on a state-wide level, requiring licensing for Apprentices, Journeymen, Master Electricians, Professional Engineers, as well as requiring continuing education at the state level for all of these classifications.

It seems to be based on licencing and continuing education. We have licencing for Masters and PEs only, no CEUs required. (Several jurisdictions do have CEU requirements)

I think the topic would be more accurate as regulation, rather than safety.

There is no mention of accidents, fires, or any other indication of safety.

Yeah, we all know required training does not increase safety.

Why not quantify and mention the safety gains in the topic of safety? I would expect insurance companies to have that information available.

We alll know people like to be regulated for no apparent reason
