What does the NEC say about the minimum distance a Lighting panel can be installed from a water sink?

Thanks in advance

There is no minimum distance a lighting and appliance panelboard must be kept away from a sink. As long as the working space requirements specified in 110.26(A) are maintained the sink can be right next to the panel.

We need to get away from this mindset that you can't have electricity and water in close proximity to each other. Have you ever seen a dishwasher, or washing machine, or electric water heater, or light in a pool, or a hot tub? Electricity and water can be used together, you just need to follow the rules....

Agreed, I can't tell you how many times I have heard that a panel must be kept 6' away from a "Water Source". I even heard one electrician say you must keep the 6' distance from a water pipe.
