minimum panelboard mains rating

are there panelboards made with mains rating of less than 100 amps?

i had to survey some old panelboards and could not identify the rating label, and many of them had 30 thru 70A MCBs. is it safe to assume that the mains are 100A?

In the first three pages of the Square D catalog I have at my desk, I see panelboards with mains rated at 30, 40, 60, and 70 amps. So no, it would not be safe to assume that the rating of any given panel is at least 100 amps.

I took a loot at the Scheider Electric (Square D) and don't see anything less than 100A.

The Square D web site seems to be having some type of problem at the moment. But here is one supplier that has panelboards under 100 amps. Note that I am not endorsing any supplier or product; this was just one of the first hits on Google, when I looked for a Square D series QO panelboard:
