Minimum voltage needed for disconnect

This was on the test.What is the minimum voltage when you need to install a disconnect? Where do I find the reference in the code book?

A disconnect for what? There are several different types of equipment that require a disconnecting means. I do not know of any that tell us you don't need a disconnect, if the voltage is below a given value. For example, 430.102 says that a disconnecting means is needed, and does not exclude voltages lower than a given value.

Can you tell us more about the test question?

Zero volts, It's not good to install a disc. when voltage is present.??
