Hi - I recently had my Fujitsu Halycon minisplit unit cleaned by a professional company filters and coils cleaned - speedclean coilshine and Nu Calgon Deodorizer used. Since then, my minisplit unit makes an odd buzzing/chirping noise when it is OFF. It only happens when it is turned off (or perhaps that is the only time I can hear it clearly). At first I thought a refrigerant leak, but now my mind has turned to a wiring or electrical issue, which greatly concerns me. We have not been running the unit due to the concern. The noise is most audible immediately after the unit is turned off, after a day or so it grows pretty quiet whereas you may have to go up on a ladder and stand next to the unit to hear it. Again, this is all while the unit is turned off and not running.
