How do you have four supply lines to a delta configuration ?

The original post did not specify wye or delta, so many of the answers have covered both separately.

You can have a wye-wired load on either a four wire wye source or a three wire delta source. Whether the latter is a good design or not is an open question.
And you can connect a delta wired load to the three ungrounded wires of a four wire wye source.

Could someone please draw a diagram of a three phase delta and a wye heater with one element open say 480 v 3000 watt . amps and watts and ohms with all good elements good and with one element open. THANK YOU.

I asked for a diagram if you can draw one fine if you cant fine don't side step question .

A wye voltage source has 4 terminals, three hots and one neutral. A wye load has 4 terminals, three hots and one neutral. A delta voltage source has 3 power terminals. These can be floating from ground, or referenced in some way to ground which in some cases may include grounding one power line.

A wye load can be connected to either a wye source or a delta source and get some power transfer, but an unbalanced load may cause severe problems. A delta load can be connected to either a wye or delta source. Generally the degree of unbalancd delta load presents no problem so long as current limits are not exceeded. An unbalanced wye load on a delta source can cause serious voltage problems within the wye load..

A delta load is drawn simply drawn as a triangle. A wye load is simply drawn as three radial lines from a common point. To imply an open resistor simply eliminate a line. Why do you need us to draw such simple circuits for you.
