Mixing ac and DC conductors in a gutter or trough

I have been installing inverters for the past 7 years with a gutter or trough below them. I have just been called on not being able to do so. I have always identified these contractors.

I remember a while back seeing a photo of the situation and allowing it. Can anybody direct me to this I would really appreciate it

The inspector is correct. See 690.31(B). Now wireways are not specifically in that list, but seems pretty reasonable to me that they are covered under the "or similar fitting" provision. Are the conductors organized in such a way that you can put a divider in?
