Mixing copper and aluminum wires as sub feeders

Ilsco makes all sorts of combinations for regular and fine stranded conductors. These are good for #3/0 Al and feature a #1/0 pin.

That appears to be a solid pin and not suitable for use with most electrical equipment designed for conductors larger than 10 AWG, as most of that equipment specifies the terminations are for Class B or C stranded conductors.

So it is star shaped and textures I wonder how this particular pin is listed because it may be able to be used if it's crushed and deformed like a stranded conductor would be.
 
If you could prove that entire feeder is underground in 20 deg C ambient (except for up to 6 ft rise at both ends.) AND that the breaker will limit maximum continues current to 100A. Then #2/0 AL Ampacity at Correction Factor 1.15 will be 132.5. and you could use that wire.

With continues current of 100A the temperature of wire will not exceed 50.2 deg C that would allow to use 60 deg C wire resistance for the calculation and the Voltage drop will stay below 3%.

Only if you get the breaker listing changed to say it can be used with something other than Class B or C stranded conductors.
