Mixing Micro and solaredge

So hope this is a simple question,
We have a customer that has an existing solarEdge Inveter, We only install micro inverters. This was our thought since our AHJ will only allow one point of disconnect for solar. We would relocate the existing AC breaker from the SolarEdge to our new Combiner panel and go from there to the main service so we have one OCPD for both solar systems. My only question would be would we mess the rapid shut-down on the two different inverters?
 
I have designed this kind of system before like you said.
we never tested voltage on site though.
I think after ac disconnect is off thy system should go on rapid shut down mode unless thy have batteries system.

Look at the working principle of rapid shutdown for both systems. That will help you determine whether they could conflict with each other, or whether they would both work independently of each other, upon opening the same switch.

The SolarEdge system initiates rapid shutdown when the AC is disconnected. The inverter stops operating, and stops providing the signal that tells the optimizers to let power through. The optimizers default to their 1V/unit shutdown standby voltage, which you design to be 30V or less.

The Enphase also initiates rapid shutdown when the AC is disconnected. The microinverters stop operating, as there is no longer a grid for them to follow. The DC remains at the module-level, since the individual inverters are installed at the module level.

Both of these methods work independently from one another, and could be operated by the same master switch.
 
Basically it's fine. The breaker for your combiner will initiate rapid shutdown for both systems.

The oldest Solaredge inverters were not rapid shutdown compliant but could be retrofitted with a kit. Does your AHJ require that the only system be rapid shutdown compliant? There is language in the NEC regarding signage that implies older systems can be left as is. But you've already mentioned one AHJ rule that isn't in the NEC, so...Hopefully it's a newer Solaredge and this is a non-issue.
