I share a 100 amp breaker with space next to me. want to add back up power and more power through solar system (charge car). Struggling with how to protect Edison when power goes out. I was a landscape contractor and did a lot of big pump installations so I'm pretty sure there's a fix. My thought was to use diodes and transfer switch Hooke to the grid. When the power goes out the with turns off. I don't really trust the inverters to provide complete protection and want to be safe. Would really appreciate some input. Thanks
