I believe your comments to indicate that a service disconnect can be more than thirty feet from the trailer and a feed can go from the service disconnect directly into the mobile home to a disconnect that qualifies as the disconnect in 550 32 (A) there by having no external disconnect with in 30 ft. of the trailer

If I understand your comments than I say you are wrong.

That is exactly what I am saying.

"located within sight from and not more than 9.0 m (30 ft)
from the exterior wall of the mobile home it serves"

Tell me where it requires this to be 'outside'?

Stupid but I could put it on the roof.

Doesn't require it to be:

Accessible, Readily (Readily Accessible). Capable of being
reached quickly for operation, renewal, or inspections
without requiring those to whom ready access is requisite
to climb over or remove obstacles or to resort to portable
ladders, and so forth.

Edit: I am assuming glass in the exterior door.

Mike,

I don't agree with your understanding of this section of the Code. But you are the Inspector or at least you say you would approve it if installed that way.
In Pa you would have to be DECD certified to install or inspect anything in relationship to mobile homes. I checked Ohio and Ohio has similar regulations
Here may be some helpful contact information you can use to ask the authority in your area.

(Ohio manufactured Housing Commission) 4781.07 Certification of local authorities to exercise commission authority

Pickaway County (I only seen one inspection agency listed for Pickaway County I am not sure what agency you are under.)

In Manufactured Home Parks or on Private Property: You must first obtain a permit for inspections prior to setting a home. You may contact any of the following agencies:

To Contact OMHC please call (614) 734-6010 or email OMHC.director@omhc.state.oh
