Modular Furniture Connections

Recently I have been told that the breakers feeding modular furniture connections need to be common trip.

The issue is the furniture has 4 circuits and I have not found a 4 pole common trip breaker. Does anyone know of a code section that might apply.

What has been done to satisfy the inspectors has been to provide a breaker handle tie but this does not seem apply to all manufactures.

You only need to handle tie the circuits that are MWBC's or in other words those circuits that are sharing a neutral. 605.7

Isn't the furniture set so you can feed two circuits (normal power) and two circuits (em or clean power)
2 two pole breakers

Oh yeah..

Oh yeah..

The funny thing with the Code is the difference in one word.....605.6 & 605.7 both begin the second sentence with "Multiwire branch circuits"and ends with "branch circuit originates" That darn "s"

Hey HOCKEY GUY ;)
I believe that will be dependant upon how the furniture wiring was specified.
Withou the need for Em, the typical setup is for a multiwire branch circuit and and additional circuit, with the multiwire branch circuit supplied by a handle-tie or other identified means of simultaneous disconnecting means.
