motor disconecting means

I have a 240V single phase 1.0 SF 15A max amp air compressor to connect. HP 3-4 Hp? (exact HP rating was a little fuzzy reading on nameplate) in reading 430-109(2011 NEC)
the branch breaker is with 25 foot of compressor but not with in sight.
in reading 430-109(2011 NEC) am I correct on installing a Nonfuseable HP rated disconnect at the compressor? Branch Breaker would be 15A

As long as the disconnect is HP rated & rated 115% of the load, then it is fine. It possibly could be just a snap switch.
