NEC compliance question concerning an application which involves a cord-and-plug connected 125HP motor (480V, 3-Phase) in an industrial installation.
Motor disconnecting means within sight of the motor is not required per NEC 430.102 (B) Exception (b), however, application requires cord-and-plug and receptacle close to motor in order to move otherwise stationary equipment for servicing.

Must the plug and receptacle be horsepower rated or does a 200A, 100kAIC plug and receptacle combination, UL rated as a load break disconnect but not marked as horsepower rated meet NEC requirements in this application?

(Meltric makes a plug and receptacle combination with such a rating)

NEC 430.109 (E) indicates that a plainly marked general purpose switch is acceptable for motors larger than 100HP. That is, if one can consider the plug and receptacle a switch I suppose.

NEC 430.109 (F) indicates that cord-and-plug connected motors must utilize a horsepower rated plug and receptacle having ratings no less than the motor ratings to serve as the disconnecting means.

Which of the code reference mentioned above does this application fall under?
