motor efficiency and power factor

here is the question
What is the efficiency and power factor of a one horsepower, single phase, 208-volt motor?
So how the question should read:

Based on NEC tables, what is (efficiency * power factor) for a one horsepower, single phase, 208-volt motor?

Or perhaps:

Based on NEC tables, for a one horsepower, single phase 208-volt motor, what is the ratio of output mechanical power to input apparent electrical power?

Cheers, Wayne

Those are much better questions than what was in OP. Still maybe not a question that belongs on a journeyman test if that is what this was about.

Kudos if the journeyman applicant can answer it, but this not really something he absolutely will need to know to be a journeyman. Questions involving Ohm's and Kirchoff's laws would be higher priority when it comes to electrical theory type questions.
