Motor rating

Hey, At my work the guys went to change out a motor (SEW) last night. They put the new motor in and the belt only turned half speed. The only difference I could see was when the nameplate quoted 50HZ/60HZ it showed up like the picture below (never mind). On thing I found said that the number next to the slash was the frame size. Since it's an SEW motor I thought the nomenclature was IEC but I was unable to confirm.

Whelps, I can't seem to upload the pic, the RPM spec for 60HZ was stamped 1760/441.

Having two ROMs means it is a 2 speed motor. Did you know that? If not, you may have hooked it up to the slow speed.

I'm with Jraef, most likely a two speed motor and you have it connected for low speed. Very likely not a dual voltage motor so make sure you didn't connect to the diagram for "low" thinking that meant low voltage, it actually means low speed at whatever nameplate voltage says.
