After a little more research, I found there are dual-voltage motors made to operate at 220 volts when delta connected, and 380 volts when wye connected. The motor windings must be connected to match the supply voltage, or it won't operate properly. As Don stated above, the supply transformer connection, wye or delta, has absolutely no effect on the way the motor windings are connected. Ed
