I salvaged a motor from an old vacuum sweeper and was hoping to use it in a project. The power cord to the sweeper had a 120V 2-prong (no ground) plug. However, the motor has three wires connected to it - Black, White, and Yellow. See attached photo. I'm not sure which two wires to connect 120V to and what to do with the third wire. I measured 1.9 ohms between the blk and wht wires, 1.6 ohms between the blk and yel wires and 0.5 ohms between the wht and yellow wires. Any help would be appreciated.
