Mounting height

Is there a code requirement as to how low a service disconnect can be mounted. I realize that you have a max height of 6.5 feet but that distance according to the code starts at the floor. This will be for an outside installation on a single family dewelling. Of course I would like to use it on any type of installation.

550.11(A) for mobile homes is the only requirement (24").

The maximum height is 6' 7". There is no NEC minimum.

Might be wise to check with the utility company to see if they have any rules about this.
