Can you mount disconnects or meter sockets to a swicthgear enclosure, by NEC code?

May I ask what kind of contrator you are?

I don't see why not, as long as you don't violate article 110.
It's not uncommon to see meters for CTs on the switch gear.

NEC is a permisive code.Unless someone can find a number it violates then its ok.

I am a electrical contractor in Nevada and Utah. I hold in Nevada a Q.E. (qualified employee) and in Utah a Master Electrician card.
Thanks for the Info. It seems from a long time ago, I remembered something about not being able to mount equipt to equipt. i.e. a bell box to the side of a panel, but maybe that was a spec issue in one of the hundreds of schools I was contracted to wire.
