I have a hydraulic lift table that is elevated above the floor by about 6 foot. It has a motor that moves with the movable part of the lift.
Up on the platform that it is mounted to, it delivers material to an operator who unloads the roller lift table.
My question is wiring the movable motor, from under the platform. So the motor moves from around 6' from floor, up to about 9' from floor..
There is people access to the entire area under the platform and around the floor area.

How is the best way to allow the motor movement ? LFMC ? that would be horseshoe shaped loop under the lift unit, and allow the vertical movement. Or just a "Loop" under the unit of tray / motor cable ?
I can post a pic if that would be easier to understand..

Flexible cord is permitted where flexibility is required.

LT flex doesn't take that kind of required flexibility very well and will require frequent replacement.

Thanks,

The cord must still be protected and mounted in such a way that it doesn't "Hang" someone or something ....

Mcmaster carr sells a retractable coiled type cable. I've used it several times.
I did a project similar to yours at the last plant I was at and found a place online that custom builds them.
Similar to the pic shown. s-l300.jpeg

Another common term for it in the machinery builder world is “cable track” (although it is also used for hoses and is then called “energy chains”). The one I have used and is of very high quality is a mfr named Igus headquartered in Rhode Island.

It’s also sold by a division of Hubbell and I believe, T&B, I would imagine any of those are good too because those companies have a reputation to uphold. But a lot of the Google search pages have been flooded with paid links to Alibaba, the Chinese equivalent of Amazon, and people I know who have bought from there say it is absolute crap. So be careful.

We have used IGUS energy track many times, little overkill for this.
The lift / rollers are shown here... They will use flexible cable and attach it so it doesnt get in trouble...
