Mulberry "raised" 4 inch square quad receptacle cover

Excuse my British ignorance - what are "mulberry covers" ?

Mulberry Metal Products is a manufacturer of device boxes, covers, waterproof boxes, etc.

But I bet "mulberry covers" is industry slang (possibly regional) for some particular type of device box cover, probably related to one of the early products that the Mulberry company came out with. I don't know what this slang term might be, but I'm also curious.

('Bell boxes' is a slang term for outdoor waterproof electrical box, because 'Bell' was an early company that made such boxes.)

Always called them mud or plaster rings. Did a Google search Hubbell 768HAM = 1/2 TO 1/3/8" Adjustable mud ring. Sorry I could not locate a 7/8" plaster ring. If the finished edge is non flammable ( forget the term NEC use) you are allowed a 1/4" set back so maybe a 3/4" ring would work. AI Overview web site stated 7/8" depth is not a standard mud ring.

A Mulbery cover (regional slang) is not a mud ring. It's used for surface mounted boxes.
