two family house
Iam looking to up grade both panels, both have old 60 amp mains with screw type fuses house #1 has small sub panels mounted next to the old panel with
60 amp main
with breakers
2-20 amp
2-30 amp
2-15 amp
sub panels mounted next to 60 amp panel
6-20 amp
2-30 amp
2-15 amp

house #2
60 amp main
with breakers
2-30 amp
2-15 amp
2-20 amp
I am thinking a disconnect next to house #1 new panel and move house # 2 panel 30 feet away into house # 2 so they can reset their breakers
I am looking in the code just making sure I am looking at it right sizes and amps
please help

You can't calculate the service sizes with the information you have given us. Check out Article 220 to calculate the load for the services. I am guessing that you will need a 100 ampere service for each side of the double. The Code also require the occupants have access to all of their overcurrent devices (240.24)

But...if you were so inclined, buy an ampclamp, turn everything in the house on, take a reading.
