Multiple Buildings Grounding and Bonding...

ok...next part of the question...an EGC is pulled with the conductors...EGC is sized according to 250.122...

but, we are gonna drive 2 ground rods at each location (easier than testing for 25 ohms)....

do we size the EGC to the grounding electrodes as per 250.66 or 250.122?

and just as an extra thought, is a main required at each panel in each separate building?

Notes: this is under the 2005 code...buildings 2 and 3 each have only 1 panel.

and who's correct...the master or the apprentice? :hmm:

for the record, the EGC with the conductors is according to 250.122....the EGC from the panel to the electrodes is 250.66...just like if the EGC wasn't brought with the conductors...

ok...but what about the mains

I did not like that question so I ignored it.

225.31 'means shall be provided to disconnect....

There are some exceptions and 225.33 has some more good info.

Heck, Just put the beer down and read 225.30 to 225.40.

Fair enough, just so out of character for you,

i'm turning over a new leaf...no longer do the material rewards matter...i'm now all about code...good code, bad code...i will soon be surpassing Ryan J in code knowledge (since he has sold out to copper.org, it should be a quick transition) and now I only care about doing the perfect installation, no matter how much money I lose....

nah, who am i kidding...i'm just having fun:D

kinda.....now what about the mains mr. smarty mcsmarterson?

I have no idea. I don't really feel like picking up the code book right now. No interest whatsoever in doing that...

But don't be jealous just because I'm smart and good looking too. I know you can't handle it but you're just gonna have to accept it.
