multiple motor conductor sizing

when calculating the size of conductors for multiple motors, if there is a given power factor how does that affect the the current draw

Welcome to the forum.

For sizing of conductors the power factor is not important, you can't use the motor nameplate ampacitys you need to use the tabulated values in Part XIV of Article 430.

Take a look at 430.6.

It appears that the * note to Table 430.250 only applys to the values given for Synchronous-Type Unity Power Factor type motors and not to Induction-Type Squirrel Cage and Wound Rotor type motors.
