Can I place 10 duplex receptacles on one individual branch circuit provided these receptacles are in addition to any required receptacles?

These receptacles will be dedicated for one individual portable appliance that will be relocated and plugged into these receptacles as necessary.

This is a dwelling unit. This is a 20 amp 125 volt circuit and the receptacles are in addition to all required receptacles. Not sure the nature of the portable equipment other that the listing is for an individual branch circuit.

The definition for [branch circuit, individual] is a branch circuit that supplies only one utilization equipment. This is the design of the circuit.

In this case circuit loading will not be an issue.
