I am building a power box and I have a transformer 2kva that has to feed 2 loads. Due to space restrictions I do not plan to install a secondary breaker.
But I have 2 loads which are connected directly to the transfromer secondary. They have individual breakers each and located within 10 feet of the transformer (2 feet) The breakers are rated at 1/2 of FLA of secondary. The conductor is sized at 12awg for 10A breaker exiting the transformer for 1 load aand the second one is sized at 14awg for 7.5 amp breaker.
Transformer primary is 208v and breaker is 20A.
tranformer secondary is 120v.
I this design ok? Or is there any violations?
thanks in advance

Sounds good to go... but I'm left wondering why you're stepping down 208 to get 120? Usually, where 208 exists, so does 120, at least at the source end.

208 Delta System

208 Delta System

The secondary is 208v delta and has no neutral. That is the reason for the transformer to obtain 120v
thanks
