I am looking for a code reference indicating minimum height restrictions for MV MC cable supported by a messenger wire. We are in a remote location and have a feeder running down the side of a site road. This feeder needs to be relocated and we are investigating direct burial, tray on sleepers, or messenger wire on poles. We would like to support the cable on messenger at a height that is above animal traffic, but low enough we can service with a normal sized man lift - for example 9 or 10 feet.
I could not find a reference to minimum height in 328 or 396.
